Annie Wersching

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress best known for her performance as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 and also for her motion capture and voice work for the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis which she graduated from in 1995. Star Trek: Enterprise: Wersching was her first role as an actor. Later, she had guest-starring roles in shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime's soap show General Hospital from March 2007 through November 2007. She was a part of theatres like Victory Gardens. Marriott Lincolnshire. The Utah Shakespearean Festival. She also competed in Irish dancing and was a member of to the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She has a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from Millikin University in musical theater. After appearing on 24 for two seasons, Wersching appeared as a guest actor on various shows, including Rizzoli and Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also appeared in Dallas, Revolution Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries, Touch, which has her co-star Kiefer Sultrland. In 2014, she appeared as a regular series participant on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime program Bosch. Wersching played catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was finally shown in the trailer for the story that was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching will be playing the role of the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard
