Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born on 27 August 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Angie Chalke is her mother and Doug Chalke are her father. Sarah is the middle of two siblings, the older one, Natasha Chalke, one younger, Piper Chalke. Sarah made her acting debut in a made-for-TV movie, City Boy (1992). In 1993, following her debut film, she was a candidate for the role of "Becky" in the TV show Roseanne (1988). The show was in search of an alternative to the character after Alicia Goranson quit the show to attend college. Sarah graduated from highschool in 1995 and was a part in the production of Roseanne (1988) from 1994 to 1995. In 1994, Sarah starred alongside Jim Varney in Ernest Goes to School (1994). In 1996, Sarah appeared in two movies: Robin of Locksley (1996) and Stand Against Fear (1996) as an actress called Krista Wilson. In 1998, just a year following the time that Roseanne (1988) was over, Sarah was asked to act in a show called Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy (1998). Based on the show Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998) The show was also based. Sarah assumed Becky's (1988) role from Alicia Goranson. She said she wanted to end her acting career and go to college. 2001 (1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's older sibling on Roseanne (1988) but, she is actually younger. Attended the 1999 CCMA award ceremony and received an award for the best single of 1999. [September 1999] At age 8 appeared in Vancouver theatre productions. She is fluent in French and German. She works at a hospice that cares for sick children and also works with the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. In her leisure moments, Chalke prefers cooking with her friends (especially Thai and sushi) and playing guitar or hiking, ski (she's an instructor) and snowboarding, kayaking and reading. Her father is a lawyer, as are her parents mediators. They also operate a child adoption agency. Her parents took her to China in order to oversee the adoptions of many orphans.
